Productinformation

This beautiful book explores the fossils that made Lyme Regis and the Jurasic Coast famous the world over, giving it Unesco World Heritage status. The book is based largely on Chris Moore's immense collection of fossils dating around 200 million years ago, built over 3 decades by meticulously combing the beaches of south-western England. The countless images of these breath-taking relics from the distant past are sure to take you on a journey back in time, whether you're a casual reader with an interest in natural history, or an avid fossil collector yourself!

  • Errol Fuller (born June 19, 1947) is a famous writer, artist and collector living in Tunbridge Wells, Kent. Over the years he has amassed an amazing private natural history collection, and in our opinion one of the best collections in the world! He is also the author of several other books, including The great Auk, Dodo from Extinction to Icon, among others. Also, he co-authored with David Attenborough the great book Drawn from Paradise: The Discovery, Art and Natural History of the Birds of Paradise.
